In 2017 we started pursuing a vision God placed in our hearts for Australia, that the church would once again be united to demonstrate the gospel. We pursued this by meeting church leaders across the country, starting prayer everyday at 7pm that thousands of people joined, and training in evangelism. That was all a lead up to the very first Awakening Australia in 2018. This even rocked us as the Lord drew over 20.000 people a day to the Marvel stadium, and this resulted in well over 1000 documented decisions made to follow Jesus in the stadium alone.
There were also hundred’s more as thousands of believers went to the Melbourne streets for 7 days. This sparked a momentum of Evangelism across our country, and it was increasing across 2019 as more young people rose up, then in 2020 the world changed and many events and missions were shut down.
Well, over the past 2 years God has been speaking to us and we are back here and ready to see something great again.
There has been no major event like this since 2019 and in this very critical hour we can once again gather together in the masses for Jesus. This is not just an event though, it’s a year long push for more of the gospel in our nation, training believers who to do this and for you and me to rise up with prayer again for Australia to see Jesus.
We can confidently tell you that in the last years since everything opened up. the openness of Aussies to the gospel has increased.
Its not the time to sit back and hope for a move of God, it’s time to act and move with God across the nation.
We felt that Awakening Australia 2024 is to take place in the beautiful city of Brisbane from September 26-29th.
